Welcome to Founder OS, the official digital learning, collaboration, mentorship, and entrepreneurship platform operated by Bower School of Entrepreneurship (“Bower”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Founder OS, including our websites, mobile applications, student portals, parent portals, faculty portals, mentor portals, administrative portals, Learning Management System (LMS), community platform, events platform, AI-powered services, and any other digital products or services operated by Bower.

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using any Bower services.

By creating an account, accessing Founder OS, enrolling in a Bower program, or using any of our digital services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any additional policies referenced herein.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not access or use Founder OS.

1. About Bower School of Entrepreneurship

Bower School of Entrepreneurship is an educational institution focused on developing entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, leadership, problem-solving, and future-ready capabilities through experiential learning.

Founder OS serves as the digital operating system supporting our educational ecosystem, including learning, mentoring, community engagement, collaboration, networking, innovation projects, entrepreneurship programs, events, and AI-assisted learning experiences.

Founder OS currently supports, but is not limited to:

  • SEED – School of Early Entrepreneurial Development
  • BUILD – Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Programs
  • LEAD – Executive Education & Professional Learning
  • Parents and Guardians
  • Faculty Members
  • Mentors
  • Alumni
  • School Partners
  • Corporate Partners

Certain services may have additional program-specific rules, which supplement these Terms.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing Founder OS, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms.
  • You agree to comply with these Terms.
  • You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
  • If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you have authority to bind that organization.

If you are using Founder OS on behalf of a school, college, company, or institution, these Terms apply both to you individually and to the organization you represent, where applicable.

3. Eligibility

Founder OS is intended for individuals participating in Bower educational programs or authorized users of the platform. Eligible users may include:

  • Students
  • Parents and Guardians
  • Faculty
  • Mentors
  • Alumni
  • School Representatives
  • Corporate Partners
  • Investors participating in approved programs
  • Administrative Staff
  • Invited Guests
  • Prospective Students using designated services

Certain features may only be available to specific user roles.

3.1 School-Age Students

Founder OS is used by school students through Bower’s SEED programs and institutional partnerships. Where required by applicable law or institutional policy:

  • Student accounts may be created by an authorized school.
  • Parent or guardian authorization may be required.
  • Schools may manage student enrollment.
  • Parents may receive access to student progress where appropriate.

The platform is designed for educational use and is not intended for unrestricted public social networking by children.

3.2 Age Requirements

Users must satisfy any minimum age requirements applicable to the educational program in which they participate.

If you are under the age required to independently enter into legal agreements in your jurisdiction, your parent, guardian, or educational institution must provide any required authorization.

4. User Accounts

Access to Founder OS generally requires a registered account. Depending on your role, your account may be created by:

  • You directly
  • Bower Admissions
  • Your school or educational institution
  • Your employer
  • Your parent or guardian
  • An authorized administrator

Each account is personal to the registered user unless explicitly stated otherwise.

4.1 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and throughout your use of Founder OS. This includes keeping your:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Profile information
  • Institution
  • Program details

reasonably up to date.

Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of your account.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

  • Keep your password secure.
  • Protect one-time passwords (OTPs).
  • Not share your account with unauthorized individuals.
  • Notify Bower immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You remain responsible for activity occurring through your account unless caused by our negligence or a security incident attributable to Bower.

4.3 Authentication

Founder OS may support multiple authentication methods, including:

  • Phone number verification
  • One-Time Password (OTP)
  • Email verification
  • Password-based authentication
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Social sign-in (where supported)
  • Biometric authentication on supported mobile devices

We may modify available authentication methods over time to improve security and user experience.

5. User Roles and Permissions

Founder OS uses role-based access controls. Depending on your role, you may have different permissions. Roles may include:

  • Student
  • Parent
  • Mentor
  • Faculty
  • Alumni
  • School Coordinator
  • Admissions Team
  • Finance Team
  • Program Team
  • Administrator
  • Super Administrator

Users may not attempt to access features, data, or administrative functions beyond those authorized for their assigned role.

6. Parent and Guardian Accounts

Where applicable, parents or guardians may receive access to certain student information. Parent access is intended solely to support educational engagement.

Depending on the student’s age, institution, and applicable law, parent accounts may provide access to:

  • Skill development
  • Portfolio updates
  • Event participation
  • Notifications

Parents must not misuse access to interfere with the educational experience or violate the privacy rights of other users.

7. Institutional Accounts

Schools, universities, and organizations using Founder OS remain responsible for:

  • Student enrollment
  • Accuracy of institutional data
  • User authorization
  • Compliance with applicable educational policies
  • Appropriate use of administrative accounts

Institutional administrators should ensure that only authorized personnel have access to administrative features.

8. Acceptable Use

Founder OS is intended exclusively for lawful educational, professional development, collaboration, mentoring, networking, and entrepreneurship-related purposes. Users agree to use Founder OS responsibly and respectfully.

You agree not to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations.
  • Access another person’s account without authorization.
  • Circumvent platform security.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the platform.
  • Upload malware or malicious code.
  • Interfere with platform operations.
  • Disrupt learning activities.
  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully others.
  • Impersonate another individual or organization.
  • Share false or misleading information intentionally.
  • Collect personal information about other users without authorization.
  • Engage in unauthorized commercial solicitation.
  • Distribute spam.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights.
  • Upload unlawful or offensive content.
  • Use automated systems to scrape or harvest platform data.
  • Attempt to overload or attack platform infrastructure.

Violation of these Terms may result in immediate restriction or termination of access.

9. User Responsibilities

As a user of Founder OS, you agree to:

  • Respect fellow learners and community members.
  • Follow all program-specific rules.
  • Maintain professional conduct.
  • Protect your account credentials.
  • Submit your own original work unless collaboration is expressly permitted.
  • Respect intellectual property rights.
  • Comply with Community Guidelines.
  • Use AI features responsibly.
  • Report security concerns or inappropriate behavior promptly.

Users are responsible for all activities conducted through their accounts.

10. Availability of Services

Founder OS is provided as an evolving educational platform. We continually improve our services and may:

  • Introduce new features.
  • Modify existing features.
  • Retire obsolete functionality.
  • Perform maintenance.
  • Improve security.
  • Update infrastructure.

While we strive to provide continuous availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Educational Services

Founder OS is an educational technology platform that supports learning, collaboration, innovation, entrepreneurship, mentoring, networking, and skill development. Educational services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Courses
  • Workshops
  • Live sessions
  • Recorded sessions
  • Projects
  • Innovation challenges
  • Assignments
  • Assessments
  • Certificates
  • Mentorship
  • Community participation
  • Networking
  • AI-powered learning assistance
  • Events
  • Student portfolios
  • Career development resources

Educational services may vary depending on the user’s enrolled program, institution, or subscription. Participation in a particular service does not guarantee access to all Founder OS features.

12. Learning Management System (LMS)

Founder OS includes a Learning Management System (“LMS”) that enables users to access educational content and learning activities. The LMS may include:

  • Reading materials
  • Downloadable resources
  • Assignments
  • Quizzes
  • Assessments
  • Practice exercises
  • Certificates
  • Progress tracking

Educational content may be released progressively based on program schedules. Users may not attempt to bypass content release schedules or gain unauthorized access to restricted materials.

12.1 Learning Progress

Founder OS records educational activity to support learning continuity. Examples include:

  • Lesson completion
  • Assignment submission
  • Assessment scores
  • Attendance
  • Portfolio submissions
  • Certificates
  • Learning streaks
  • Skill progression

These records help students, parents, mentors, faculty, and institutions monitor educational progress.

12.2 Certificates

Certificates may be issued upon successful completion of eligible programs. Issuance of certificates remains subject to:

  • Completion requirements
  • Attendance requirements
  • Assessment criteria
  • Institutional policies
  • Academic integrity

Bower reserves the right to withhold, revoke, or correct certificates obtained through fraud, misconduct, or administrative error.

13. Community Platform

Founder OS includes a community platform designed to encourage collaboration, peer learning, networking, and knowledge sharing. Community features may include:

  • Comments
  • Discussions
  • Groups
  • Announcements
  • Media sharing
  • Polls
  • Reactions
  • Mentions
  • Student showcases

Participation is voluntary. Community access may vary depending on the user’s program or role.

13.1 Community Standards

Users are expected to maintain a respectful educational environment. Community members should:

  • Respect differing opinions.
  • Engage professionally.
  • Encourage constructive discussions.
  • Avoid personal attacks.
  • Respect privacy.
  • Share relevant educational content.

Founder OS is intended to foster learning and collaboration rather than unrestricted social networking.

13.2 Prohibited Conduct

Users must not publish or distribute content that includes:

  • Harassment
  • Bullying
  • Hate speech
  • Threats
  • Violence
  • Discrimination
  • Obscene material
  • Sexually explicit content
  • Child exploitation
  • Illegal activity
  • Terrorist content
  • Fraud
  • Spam
  • Malware
  • Copyright infringement
  • Confidential information belonging to others
  • False impersonation
  • Defamatory content

Bower reserves the right to remove content that violates these standards.

13.3 Reporting Content

Reports are reviewed by authorized moderators. Actions may include:

Users should not misuse reporting features. False or malicious reporting may itself constitute a Terms violation.

13.4 Blocking Users

Founder OS allows users to block other users. Blocking may:

  • Prevent messaging.
  • Hide community interactions.
  • Reduce profile visibility.
  • Prevent future connections.

Blocking is intended to improve user safety and does not necessarily indicate that a user has violated these Terms.

14. User Generated Content

Founder OS allows users to create and upload content. Examples include:

  • Posts
  • Comments
  • Assignments
  • Presentations
  • Videos
  • Images
  • Portfolios
  • Projects
  • Reflections
  • Business ideas
  • Event submissions
  • Community discussions

Users retain ownership of their original content unless otherwise agreed. However, by submitting content through Founder OS, users grant Bower a limited license as described below.

14.1 License Granted to Bower

To operate the platform, users grant Bower a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, revocable (subject to legal and operational requirements), license to:

  • Store content.
  • Display content within Founder OS.
  • Reproduce content for educational purposes.
  • Format content for different devices.
  • Back up content.
  • Moderate content.
  • Share content with authorized users based on permissions.

This license exists solely to operate and improve Founder OS. Users do not transfer ownership of their intellectual property merely by uploading it.

14.2 Public Visibility

Users should understand that content shared within community spaces may be visible to:

  • Other students
  • Faculty
  • Mentors
  • Authorized administrators
  • Members of the same institution or cohort
  • Other users where permitted by platform settings

Users should avoid posting confidential or sensitive information in public areas of the platform.

15. AI Services

Founder OS includes AI-powered features designed to support learning and productivity. Examples include:

  • AI Copilot
  • Learning Assistant
  • Reflection generation
  • Research assistance
  • Assignment guidance
  • Writing assistance
  • Business idea support
  • Brainstorming
  • Knowledge search

AI Services are intended to supplement learning and should not replace independent judgment.

15.1 Appropriate Use of AI

Users agree not to use AI Services to:

  • Generate illegal content.
  • Harass individuals.
  • Create harmful or malicious material.
  • Circumvent academic integrity policies.
  • Generate spam.
  • Infringe intellectual property.
  • Produce deceptive or fraudulent material.
  • Attempt to exploit or reverse engineer AI systems.

Bower may restrict or suspend access to AI Services where misuse is detected.

15.2 AI Output

AI-generated content:

  • May contain inaccuracies.
  • May become outdated.
  • Should be independently verified.
  • Does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

Users remain responsible for decisions made using AI-generated information.

15.3 Academic Integrity

Unless explicitly permitted by instructors or program rules, users remain responsible for ensuring that submitted work represents their own understanding. Using AI does not exempt users from:

  • Citation requirements
  • Originality expectations
  • Assessment rules
  • Institutional academic integrity policies

Bower and participating institutions may investigate suspected misuse of AI in assessments.

16. Mentorship Services

Founder OS facilitates mentorship between learners and approved mentors. Mentorship may include:

  • One-to-one sessions
  • Group mentoring
  • Office hours
  • Venture reviews
  • Career guidance
  • Project feedback

Mentors provide educational guidance only. Mentoring does not constitute legal, financial, investment, tax, medical, or other regulated professional advice.

16.1 Mentor Conduct

Mentors are expected to:

  • Maintain professional conduct.
  • Respect confidentiality.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Follow Bower policies.
  • Treat learners respectfully.

Bower may remove mentors who violate these standards.

17. Events

Founder OS supports educational events including:

  • Workshops
  • Hackathons
  • Competitions
  • Guest lectures
  • Networking events
  • Demo days
  • Conferences
  • Career fairs

Participation may require registration, attendance confirmation, or institutional approval. Certain events may have separate event-specific rules.

17.1 Event Participation

Participants agree to:

  • Follow event instructions.
  • Respect other participants.
  • Follow venue rules.
  • Avoid disruptive behavior.
  • Comply with safety instructions.

Bower reserves the right to remove participants whose conduct threatens the educational environment or the safety of others.

18. Networking

Founder OS enables users to connect professionally. Networking features may include:

  • Profile discovery
  • Connection requests
  • Messaging
  • Mentorship matching
  • Collaboration opportunities

Networking features should be used for legitimate educational and professional purposes. Users must not use Founder OS for unsolicited marketing, spam, or unrelated commercial solicitation.

19. Intellectual Property

Founder OS and its associated materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Unless otherwise stated, Bower or its licensors own rights in:

  • Founder OS software
  • Platform design
  • Logos
  • Branding
  • Educational content
  • Course materials
  • Videos
  • Graphics
  • Documents
  • Assessments
  • AI prompts created by Bower
  • Original platform features

Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit these materials without prior written permission. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Bower’s intellectual property to users.

20. Admissions, Enrollment & Educational Programs

Enrollment into a Bower program may be subject to eligibility requirements, admissions criteria, interviews, assessments, institutional partnerships, or other selection processes. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission into any program.

Bower reserves the right to:

  • Accept or reject applications.
  • Modify admissions criteria.
  • Change program schedules.
  • Limit cohort sizes.
  • Postpone or cancel programs.
  • Require additional documentation or verification.

Admission decisions are made at Bower’s discretion unless otherwise required by applicable law.

20.1 Program Availability

Programs, courses, workshops, and educational services may vary by:

  • Country
  • Institution
  • Academic year
  • Cohort
  • Program type
  • Delivery format (online, hybrid, or in-person)

Bower may modify, discontinue, or replace educational offerings without guaranteeing perpetual availability.

21. Payments, Fees & Billing

Certain Founder OS services may require payment of tuition fees, enrollment fees, subscriptions, event fees, or other applicable charges. Where applicable:

  • Fees will be communicated before payment is required.
  • Payments must be made using approved payment methods.
  • Users are responsible for providing accurate billing information.
  • Taxes and statutory charges, where applicable, may be added to the stated fees.

Founder OS itself does not guarantee that every feature is available under every payment plan or institutional agreement.

21.1 Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through trusted third-party payment service providers. Bower does not store complete payment card information on its own systems. Users are subject to the applicable terms and privacy policies of the relevant payment provider.

21.2 Failure to Pay

Where payment is required, Bower may suspend or restrict access to certain services until outstanding amounts are settled. This may include temporary suspension of:

  • Course access
  • Certificates
  • Community features
  • Events
  • Mentoring
  • Other premium services

Suspension for non-payment does not waive outstanding payment obligations.

22. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund policies may vary depending on:

  • Applicable consumer protection laws

Specific refund policies communicated at the time of enrollment or purchase shall govern the applicable transaction. Unless expressly stated otherwise, fees already consumed through delivered educational services may not be refundable.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available under applicable law.

23. Academic Integrity

Founder OS promotes honesty, originality, and responsible learning. Users agree to:

  • Submit their own work unless collaboration is expressly permitted.
  • Properly acknowledge sources where required.
  • Avoid plagiarism.
  • Avoid impersonation.
  • Avoid unauthorized assistance during assessments.
  • Use AI tools responsibly in accordance with program rules.

Academic misconduct may result in:

  • Reduced grades
  • Assessment failure
  • Certificate withholding
  • Program suspension
  • Expulsion
  • Other disciplinary action

Institution-specific academic policies may also apply.

24. Account Suspension & Termination

Bower reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, institutions, or the platform. Examples include:

  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Community Guidelines violations.
  • Fraudulent activity.
  • Security risks.
  • Repeated abuse.
  • Harassment.
  • Spam.
  • Illegal activity.
  • Intellectual property infringement.
  • Misuse of AI services.
  • Unauthorized access attempts.

Where appropriate, users may be notified before permanent termination. In serious cases involving security or unlawful conduct, immediate suspension may occur without prior notice.

24.1 Effect of Termination

Following termination, users may lose access to:

  • Community
  • Events
  • Mentorship
  • Networking
  • AI Services
  • Certificates not yet issued
  • Assignments
  • Learning history (subject to legal retention obligations)

Termination does not automatically remove obligations that arose prior to termination, including payment obligations or legal responsibilities.

25. Service Availability

Founder OS is provided on an “as available” and “as updated” basis. Although we strive to provide reliable services, we do not guarantee:

  • Continuous availability.
  • Error-free operation.
  • Compatibility with every device.
  • Uninterrupted access.
  • Availability of every feature at all times.

Maintenance, updates, security improvements, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect service availability.

26. Disclaimers

Educational content is provided for learning and informational purposes. Except where expressly stated, Bower does not guarantee:

  • Academic outcomes.
  • Employment.
  • Business success.
  • Startup funding.
  • Investment.
  • Venture capital access.
  • Career advancement.
  • Competition results.

Learning outcomes depend upon many factors, including individual effort and participation.

26.1 AI Disclaimer

AI-generated responses are automatically produced using artificial intelligence technologies. AI outputs:

  • May contain inaccuracies.
  • May become outdated.
  • May omit relevant information.
  • Should be independently verified.

AI responses are not legal, medical, financial, tax, investment, psychological, or other regulated professional advice. Users remain responsible for decisions made using AI-generated information.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bower shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Use of Founder OS.
  • Temporary service interruptions.
  • User-generated content.
  • Third-party services.
  • AI-generated outputs.
  • Educational decisions.
  • Business decisions.
  • Startup outcomes.
  • Networking interactions.
  • Mentor advice.
  • Event participation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

28. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bower, its affiliates, employees, faculty, mentors, officers, directors, contractors, and partners from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of Founder OS.
  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Violation of applicable law.
  • Infringement of third-party rights.
  • User-generated content you submit.
  • Unauthorized use of another person’s account.

This obligation survives termination of your account.

Founder OS integrates with third-party services to improve functionality. Examples include:

  • AI providers
  • Analytics providers
  • Email providers
  • SMS providers
  • Mapping services

Bower is not responsible for the independent policies, availability, or actions of third-party providers. Use of those services may also be governed by their respective terms.

30. Changes to Founder OS

Founder OS is an evolving platform. We may:

  • Remove features.
  • Improve functionality.
  • Modify workflows.
  • Introduce AI capabilities.
  • Update security controls.
  • Improve the user interface.

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes necessary to improve educational services and platform operations.

31. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through:

The “Last Updated” date indicates when the latest revision became effective. Continued use of Founder OS after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

32. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of Founder OS shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

33. Force Majeure

Bower shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Earthquakes
  • Fire
  • Pandemic or epidemic
  • Government action
  • War
  • Civil unrest
  • Internet outages
  • Power failures
  • Cybersecurity incidents
  • Failure of third-party infrastructure

Performance will resume as soon as reasonably practicable after the relevant event.

34. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be interpreted, where possible, in a manner that most closely reflects the original intent.

35. Waiver

Failure by Bower to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Bower.

36. Assignment

Users may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under these Terms without Bower’s prior written consent. Bower may assign or transfer its rights and obligations in connection with:

  • Business restructuring
  • Merger
  • Acquisition
  • Sale of assets
  • Corporate reorganization

subject to applicable law.

37. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Community Guidelines
  • Program-specific policies
  • Event-specific terms
  • Payment policies
  • Additional legal notices

constitute the entire agreement between you and Bower regarding your use of Founder OS. They supersede any prior understandings relating to the same subject matter.
